From August 25 to 26, a delegation consisting of Ma Lan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vanadium and Titanium College of Panzhihua University; Pu Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission; Li Junhan, Vice Dean; and Dr. Liu Peng, a key teacher of the metallurgy major, visited Bommei Star, Aba Aluminum Factory and the Group's headquarters for exchanges, and signed a school-enterprise cooperation agreement. On the morning of the 25th, Deputy Secretary Ma Lan and her delegation went deep into the workshop of Bommei Star, where they gained an on-site understanding of the process principles such as raw material pretreatment, electrolytic aluminum production, and aluminum liquid refining, as well as the intelligent and environmental protection facilities. They also exchanged views with the enterprise's responsible persons on technical difficulties and the application principles of new equipment. After the inspection, both sides held a discussion focusing on "integrating theory with practice and jointly cultivating applied talents". The factory proposed to provide internships and training bases, and select technical backbones to participate in teaching. For its part, the university stated that it would rely on the enterprise's resources to optimize courses and cultivate high-quality applied talents. At the forum, representatives of Panzhihua University graduates who joined the factory in 2025 shared their growth experiences and suggestions on curriculum connection, providing a grass-roots perspective for school-enterprise cooperation. In the afternoon of the same day, Deputy Secretary Ma Lan and her delegation visited Aba Aluminum Factory. They gained a detailed understanding of the factory's development history and corporate culture construction through the factory's publicity exhibition hall, and also went deep into the production site of the casting workshop to inspect the operation of the production line on the spot. At the subsequent symposium, Panzhihua University alumni such as Luo Xin and Wu Zhipeng gave feedback on their development after joining Aba Aluminum Factory. Through in-depth communication, both sides reached a consensus on further establishing a normalized communication mechanism between the university and the enterprise in the future, expanding the forms and contents of cooperation, and promoting substantive cooperation in technical research and development, joint talent training, and industry-university-research collaborative development. On August 26, Deputy Secretary Ma Lan and her delegation arrived at the headquarters of Bosai Group to attend the signing ceremony of the school-enterprise cooperation agreement. Liu Jian, Deputy General Manager of Bosai Group, and relevant personnel from the Group's Human Resources Department participated in the signing. The university and the enterprise will serve as mutual bases for talent cultivation, internships and employment, and jointly build an industrial college and a scientific research platform. Bosai Group will provide professional information support for the relevant construction of the college, offer internship opportunities for students and give priority to employing talents. Teachers and enterprise experts will jointly carry out technical research and development, collaborate in applying for project cooperation, and establish a mutually beneficial school-enterprise cooperation relationship.
This exchange activity has not only deepened the mutual understanding between the university and the enterprise, but also built a school-enterprise cooperation framework featuring resource sharing and coordinated development.
