On the morning of August 11th, Liu Shengyou, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Port Group, visited the headquarters of Bosai Group and held discussions with General Manager Yuan Lingnan, Deputy General Manager Liu Jian, and relevant department heads. Both sides discussed the phased impact of the Three Gorges Dam maintenance on Yangtze River shipping, and exchanged ideas on opening up the second logistics channel of Bosai Group and deepening strategic cooperation between the two sides.

At the meeting, Secretary Liu Shengyou gave a detailed introduction to the transportation capacity, operational status, and preferential policies of the relevant ports of Beibu Gulf Port Group. He stated that he would work together with the governments and railway departments of Chongqing and Guangxi to promote the transformation of some ore raw materials of Bosai Group from "river sea intermodal transportation" to "iron sea intermodal transportation", in order to effectively resolve the transportation bottleneck during the Three Gorges Dam maintenance period. General Manager Yuan Lingnan expressed gratitude for the visit and support of the delegation from Beibu Gulf Port Group, and hoped that Beibu Gulf Port Group would further optimize its logistics plan in the process of "water to rail" transportation guarantee, and effectively help enterprises reduce logistics costs and shorten transportation time.

Finally, both parties reached a consensus to continue strengthening close ties and strive to sign a strategic cooperation agreement as soon as possible to promote the early implementation and effectiveness of the project.
