Established in Nanchuan District, Chongqing in 2001, Nanchuan Alumina Refinery is the first private alumina refinery in China. Currently, its production capacity is 900,000 tonnes of alumina per annum.

In June 2018, Bosai Group established the Nanchuan Shuijiang Alumina Refinery Co., Ltd., and officially signed up to take over the 800,000-tonne alumina refinery, together with its affiliated bauxite mine from Cinalco Chongqing. This strategic step makes Bosai Group the sole and only alumina production enterprise across Sichuan and Chongqing.

Chongqing Saite Corundum Ltd. is a relocated project of Bosai Group. In 2014, Bosai relocated four factories dispersed in Guizhou and Guangxi to the Regenerated Nonferrous Metal Industrial Park in Qingxi Town, Fuling District of Chongqing, which were hereupon merged into one plant which produces high-grade abrasives, renamed as the Chongqing Saite Corundum Ltd. Currently, with an annual output of 200,000 tonnes of BFA, Saite Corundum is the largest manufacture of BFA across Asia, the products of which consist of 140,000 tonnes of refractory grade BFA and 60,000 tonnes of abrasive grade BFA per annum.

Funded by Bosai Group and Fuling Nengyuan Shiye Group, Dalang Metallurgical New Materials Company is a joint venture in which Bosai has an ownership of 78% of the shares. At present, the first phase of plant construction has been successfully completed, thanks to which the annual production capacity of manganese-based alloys has reached 550,000 tonnes. Recognized as a world leading force in manufacturing science and technology, Dalang is an intelligent plant and features good cost-effectiveness and environmental-friendliness. As of now, it is the largest production base of manganese-based alloy across Asia.

Aba Aluminum Smelting Plant is the largest industrial manufacturing base across Aba Prefecture in Sichuan Province, and the only aluminum smelting plant in Tibetan Region. Its dedicated team of diversified ethnicity consists of about 1000 people, 30% of which come from minority groups. Since it was merged into Bosai Group in 2006, Aba Aluminum Smelting Plant has concentrated on technology upgrade and capacity expansion. To date, its annual production capacity of primary aluminum has reached 200,000 tonnes, and that of aluminum products, such as aluminum rods, round bars and sheet ingots has exceeded 150,000 tonnes.

Meishan Aostar Aluminum Co., Ltd. is recognized as one of the leading upstream aluminum enterprises in Ganmei Industrial Park. Its current annual production capacity of primary aluminum is 130,000 tonnes.

In 2006, Bosai Group acquired Omai Bauxite Mining Inc., from the Canadian gold mining company IAMGOLD, and renamed it as Bosai Minerals Group (Guyana) Inc. The company has ownership of over 200 million tonnes of high alumina and low iron bauxite deposits, and a bauxite reserve as such is unique around the globe in respect of quality and quantity. To date, the annual production capacity of the company consists of 1.5 million tonnes of Metallurgical Grade Bauxite (“MAZ”), 300,000 tonnes of Refractory “A” Grade Super Calcined Bauxite (“RASC”), 200,000 tonnes of Sized Chemical Grade Bauxite (“SCGB”) and 200,000 tonnes of Cement Grade Bauxite (“CeGB”), which makes it the largest supplier of Calcined Bauxite in the world market place.

In 2018, after a year of purposeful field visits and through negotiation with the Reunion Gold Corporation, Bosai Group obtained four prospecting permits of Manganese Mine in the Matthews Range in Northwest Guyana, which altogether cover an area of 45,729 acres, and the acquisition also included relevant exploration reports, mining agreements and part of the assets and infrastructure. Bosai Group registered a wholly-owned subsidiary in Guyana, named as Guyana Manganese Inc., to receive the foregoing acquired assets. The company then started the design and construction of mines, ports and export haulage system. The construction work is scheduled to be completed in late 2019, and next, the operation of mine will catch up soon. With an annual mining capacity of 2.5 million tonnes, an annual output of 600,000 tonnes of manganese concentrate, an average MnO content of 38% (39% of lump ores and 37% of fine ores), a SiO2 content of 20% - 25%, a phosphorus content of less than 0.1%, and together with very few impurities, the products will be an ideal raw material for ferroalloy production. The Manganese Mine in Matthews Range has a proven reserves of nearly 30 million tonnes. Its mining life is designed to last for 12 years, and the mining method applied will be open-pit mining. According to the previous exploration reports, there are more inferred reserves in area near the mine, which needs to be further confirmed in detail. By then, the company's capacity including but not limited to resource reserves, mining life and productivity will be highly promising to double. This project is expected to create at least 700 jobs directly and indirectly in local communities in Guyana.

In 2009, Bosai Group successfully acquired from the world mining giant, Rio Tinto, the Ghana Bauxite Company Limited. It was later found through exploration that the company owned the world’s best deposits of high alumina and low silica bauxite ore, the amount of which reached approximately 100 million tonnes in total. The mine is an open pit with low stripping ratio which poses little difficulty for mining operation.
