In the scorching summer, welding sparks splatter, and craftsmen refine their true skills with ingenuity. Recently, the Wanbo New Materials Thermal Power Center organized the first Welding Skills Competition, where a total of 10 skilled welders gathered together to compete on the same stage, using welding guns to depict the era's protagonists of craftsmanship spirit and showcasing their exquisite skills in the splashing welding flowers.
The main focus of this competition is pipeline welding, with a particular emphasis on the contestants' welding speed, weld quality, and operational standards. At the competition site, the participating employees operated steadily and orderly, moved quickly, and demonstrated proficient welding processes and solid welding skills. After fierce competition, Zhang Juhua, a desulfurization maintenance welder, won the championship with his almost perfect weld formation and stable performance.
After the competition, the contestants exchanged and learned skills and techniques with each other, and shared their operational experience. Wang Chao, the director of the Thermal Power Center, stated that in future production work, employees will be encouraged to strengthen communication and learning, enhance their sense of cooperation, and actively create an atmosphere of "learning and catching up". The Thermal Power Center will also continue to carry out diversified skills competitions to comprehensively enhance employees' core competitiveness and strengthen the cultivation of diversified talents.
